A sacred event for Catholics around the world — Holy Week commemorates the Passion of Jesus Christ. Devotees manifest their faith by remembering the life and sacrifices of Jesus for humanity.
Bicolanos, known as people with strong faith, venerate the Holy Week by partaking in different religious activities such as processions, crusades, and many more. However, the pandemic halted these traditions due to lockdowns and protocols preventing mass gatherings and celebrations in the country.
This year, following safety procedures and mandates, allowed Bicolano devotees to profess and express their faith even inside the comforts of their homes.
