Despite the economic woes that the country faces, the Philippines battles more adversaries e.g., the lack of financial aid for Filipinos, inadequate mental health services offered in the country, and the blended education which only a portion of the country's student population can adapt to its demands. Thus, a more effective COVID-19 response from the national government must be extensively drawn to combat the crisis and to ensure the welfare of every Filipino.
